New York Myopia Control is an online resource for parents, pediatricians, and patients to learn more about Myopia (Nearsightedness).  For years optometrists and pediatric ophthalmologists have been treating children with glasses for Myopia.  However, Myopia is not a simple refractive condition, and its progression in recent years has led to concerns of permanent vision loss for millions of people.

New York Myopia Control is associated with Dr. Abraham Zlatin a fellowship trained Orthokeratologist and board member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.

It is our mission to inform more parents, doctors and others responsible for childrens healthcare about the benefits of early intervention in childhood myopia.
